Grouped Views: Split One Workspace Pane into Sections by Platform, Status, or Owner
Pick a field and one workspace pane splits its records into collapsible sections — one per platform, status, or owner — each with a live count and its own pages.

Visualizing Entities: New Built-In Chart Views for Any Template
Open any record with metrics on it and every one of them is already charted — one shared time window, one shared aggregation, zero setup, with a one-click path into a fully custom view for the metric that needs a closer look.

Group-By Analytics: Aggregate Dashboard Blocks for Count, Sum, Avg, Min, and Max
Revenue by region, tickets by status, inventory by warehouse — a dashboard tile now computes the rollup directly from live records, and shows every viewer only the numbers their role permits.
- Core Platform Capabilities
Powerful Entity Queries: OR Groups, IN/BETWEEN, and Cross-Reference Filtering
Every account that's either overdue or high-risk, opened last quarter, in one of five regions — answered directly against live data, with one filter grammar shared by search, export, dashboards, and AI agents.

Business Rules & Actions: Enforcing Data Integrity and Automating Workflows on Every Write
A record can now say what a valid version of itself looks like, and expose one guided, named way to change it — enforced on every write path, from the form to AI agents, and bundled automatically when a blueprint installs its schema.

Comparing MCP Storage Architectures: SQLite vs. PostgreSQL vs. Runtime Dynamic Schemas for AI Agents
Local SQLite files, direct PostgreSQL connections, and a remote MCP server backed by dynamic schemas solve agent storage differently. A structural comparison across setup cost, credential scope, audit trails, and multi-agent sharing.

Native Semantic Search & Agentic RAG: Search Your Data With Plain English
Omnismith now understands what you mean, not just what you type. Semantic vector search and agentic RAG are built natively into every dynamic schema, powered by Google's gemini-embedding-2 model.

Why Fixed SQL Schemas Break Autonomous Agents (and Why Runtime Schemas Win)
Building operational backends for autonomous agents exposes a core dilemma: rigid SQL migration pipelines vs. chaotic unstructured JSON. Runtime typed schemas let agents scaffold and evolve backends safely via MCP.

Building Dynamic Data Models: A Hands-On API Walkthrough
A hands-on walkthrough for building dynamic data models with Omnismith: declaring attributes, composing templates, connecting entities via references, and querying it all through the API — no migrations required.

Zero-Code AI Agent Observability: Auditing Claude Desktop & MCP Tool Calls with Omnismith
Desktop AI assistants execute powerful tools via MCP, but observing them often requires heavy proxy middleware. Learn how to achieve domain-agnostic, prompt-driven agent observability in Omnismith with zero custom code.
-
Omnismith 2.0: Higher Limits, Faster Execution, and Zero Seat Tax
Platform engine upgrades unlock expanded quotas across all plans, delivering up to 3x higher entity limits and responsive performance at existing price points.

Learn how we configured our own Book a Demo workflow on omnismith.io using dynamic schemas, REST endpoints, and instant Telegram automations.
-
Extending Slugs Across Templates and Entities for Deterministic API Workflows
Eliminate identifier resolution queries in automated ingestion pipelines. Omnismith extends project-unique slugs across templates and entities for deterministic API workflows.
-
Referencing Attributes via Project-Unique Slugs in API and Schema Workflows
Eliminate UUID lookup friction in dynamic entity payloads. Omnismith introduces project-unique attribute slugs for human-readable API writes, telemetry streams, and AI workflows.

Configuring Event-Driven Automations and Telegram Notifications
Continuous telemetry streams require automated evaluation. Omnismith allows operators to attach trigger conditions to metric changes and dispatch immediate alerts via Telegram channels.
- Core Platform Capabilities & Integrations
Ingesting Real-Time Telemetry and Configuring Observability Dashboards
Operational platforms must unify dynamic entity metadata with high-frequency sensor streams. Omnismith routes telemetry metrics directly to time-series tables for live visualization.

AI Tool-Calling: Translating Business Requirements to Database Schemas
Integrated AI assistants can map natural language schema requirements to operational APIs, deploying complete database schemas and demo datasets in real time.
- Core Platform Capabilities & Integrations
Scaffolding Business Domain Models with Dynamic Schemas
Operational platforms require structured data, but rigid database schemas slow down development. Omnismith uses a runtime EAV model to let schemas evolve alongside the business.

Scaling Operational Observability with Prometheus and Grafana
How monitoring infrastructure components directly provides an extensible, cost-effective telemetry foundation for operational data platforms.
-
Building a Blueprint Marketplace for Reusable Project Structures
Flexible platforms create repeated domain work. Omnismith's Blueprint Marketplace grew from that problem and turned reusable project structures into a product capability.
-
Designing Onboarding for a Flexible Data Platform
An empty workspace exposed Omnismith's flexibility, but not its model. This article covers the first onboarding redesign: a small demo project plus a guided tour.

Why Omnismith Uses Flexible Schema for Operational Data
Omnismith was built around a simple constraint: many operational systems need different schemas, but the same platform capabilities.
